Teen Art House Summer: Tie Dye
Saturday, July 25th from 10am-2pm

Join us to learn about the basics of tie dye and fabric dying! Learn from our instructor and get a chance to experiment and learn technical skills on what makes a good tie dye project. All materials are included and students are asked to bring a lunch. Students are welcome to bring additional fabric pieces and clothing to dye aside from the provided materials. This program is free and registration is required.
Jasmine is a graphic designer and artist living in York, PA who has a concentration in acrylic painting and printmaking. She enjoys using bold colors, patterns and graphic elements in her work. Jasmine is also versed in jewelry making, polymer clay, and mixed media. Graduating from York College of Pennsylvania in 2012, Jasmine earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Graphic Design and Fine Art. Her work has been shown at York College and The York College Center of Community Engagement, The Parliament, and Marketview Arts. She enjoys working with people of all skill sets – just happy to be in the studio!
When she is not teaching at Creative York, Jasmine operates her business, Jasmine Perfect Creative, where she offers graphic design and creative marketing support for local small businesses, as well as youth mentoring and education through design. She lives with her long-term partner, their 10 year old son and 13 year old dog.
All supplies are included. Please bring a packed lunch. Students are welcome to bring additional fabric pieces and clothing to dye aside from the provided materials.
