Planning a visit to Creative York for an art class, gallery tour, or event? We are here to make your visit as smooth and inspiring as possible!

We are excited to welcome you to our location in downtown York, Pennsylvania. Featuring vibrant classrooms, a state-of-the-art ceramics studio, and premier exhibition spaces, don’t miss everything Creative York has to offer.

To help you prepare for your visit to Creative York, we have answered some frequently asked questions below.

Creative York is open to the public on the following days and times:

  • Monday – Saturday from 10am to 2pm
  • First Fridays from 5pm to 9pm
  • Appointments for other days/times can be arranged by calling 717-848-3200.

There are several free and paid parking garages, lots, and meters within walking distance to Creative York. Please view our parking map for specific locations.

It is free to visit Creative York’s art galleries. If planning to attend a class or camp, there is an associated fee, which must be paid at the time of registration. Our class schedule and costs can be viewed here.

Yes! Everyone is welcome to visit our gallery spaces and explore the arts (no matter their age).

In accordance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), we allow working service animals in our facility. Under the ADA, “a service animal is a dog that has been individually trained to work or perform tasks for assisting a person with a disability.”

*As stipulated by the ADA, Creative York staff may request that a service dog experiencing difficulty or demonstrating problematic behaviors, such as barking or lunging, be removed from premises immediately. We ask that you promptly comply with any such request for the safety and welfare of all.

Yes, there are restrooms throughout our facility that are accessible to all visitors.

If you have registered for an art class or program, but can no longer attend, we ask that you contact Amber Wiesberg at [email protected] 48 hours prior to the class and/or program start time. Refunds and/or an exchange for a different class will be determined on an individual basis.

To protect our artwork and ensure the safety of all guests, we ask that visitors do not bring their own food and/or drinks into our facility without permission.
