Making A Difference in York County & Beyond
Through arts education, gallery experiences, and outreach programs, Creative York strives to make a positive impact in our local community and beyond. With a focused effort on serving at-risk youth in the City of York, we have seen firsthand how art can serve as a tool for self-expression and increased confidence. We are proud to make the arts accessible to everyone and meet the needs of our thriving, vibrant community.
See how we made a difference in the community throughout 2021!
- Inspired 697 children and adults through art classes, camps, and programs.
- Offered free arts education and activities to 35 children during Art in the Parks.
- Distributed 140 art kits to children in the community so they could explore their creativity from home.
- Hosted 11 free art shows in the Kerlin Gallery and The Art Lab for 2,501 community members to view.
- Provided 150 middle and high school students with a free gallery tour and experience.
