Aubrey Maurer is a ceramic artist splitting her time between Lancaster and Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Her sculptural work explores how memory, transformation, and ecological cycles become embedded within the natural world. Drawing inspiration from the landscapes surrounding her home in Schuylkill County, as well as botanical growth, fungi, weathered environments, and geological formations, Maurer creates organic forms that exist between familiarity and abstraction.

Working primarily with hand-built stoneware, Maurer composes a fusion of organic forms and modernist influences to create sculptures that convey both physical presence and earthy elegance. Each piece is one of a kind, reflecting an ongoing interest in nature, organic structures, and the relationship between permanence and impermanence.
