We are beyond excited and grateful to announce that through the Kerlins’ outstanding leadership we not only met, but exceeded, our capital campaign goal!  Nearly 200 generous individuals, businesses, and foundations in York donated to the Creative York Capital Campaign, raising a total of $1,500,000!

Thank you to every single donor, and everyone who helped bolster support for this campaign.  You have made this possible, and we cannot wait to share with you the impact of your investment!

The campaign may be over, but our work is just beginning.

The money raised through the campaign will support three targeted areas of growth, which call for some major upgrades and renovations to our buildings at 10 N. Beaver and 118 W. Philadelphia.  We are slated to begin renovations in July with a grand re-opening slated for the fall.

Meanwhile, we will offer Arts Discovery Camps, our popular children summer classes, at Paul Smith Library in Shrewsbury and Martin Library in York.  Class registration must be done through Creative York.

Creative York volunteers will still bring free art activities to the parks from June 22 – August 14 during this year’s Art in the Parks program.  Art in the Parks is a free art program held weeknights at various York City parks and housing communities.
