Art in the Parks is a free art program for children ages 3 to 12. Activities are held every summer at various York City parks. However, to keep our community safe, Creative York has decided to hold the event on Thursdays for five weeks throughout the month of July at different park locations while focusing on social distancing and limiting the use of shared materials with individual art kits.
Art in the Parks es un programa de arte gratuito para niños de 3 a 12 años. Las actividades se llevan a cabo cada verano en varios parques de la ciudad de York. Sin embargo, para mantener a nuestra comunidad segura, Creative York ha decidido celebrar el evento los jueves durante cinco semanas durante todo el mes de julio en diferentes lugares del parque, mientras se centra en el distanciamiento social y la limitación del uso de materiales compartidos con kits de arte individuales.

Now more than ever, we need your help. Each art kit costs $10 and with almost 100 families visiting each York County Food Bank distribution location in 2020, we anticipate hundreds of kits being distributed. If you or your company would like sponsor Art in the Parks and the art kits to get more involved with Creative York and our mission to spread creativity throughout York County, please consider becoming a sponsor. Sponsors will have the option to have their logo featured on the art kits as well as highlighted on social media outreach and in our newsletter.
