Writer’s Eye
The annual Writer’s Eye Competition links the inspiration of writers to the creative vision of artists. This year, participants were invited to write a poem or short story in response to the La Luz de la Gente exhibit in the Kerlin Gallery at Creative York. The Writer’s Eye competition began Sept 29 and ran until Dec 17.
First, second, and third-place ribbons are awarded in each of four age categories. An awards ceremony announcing the winners will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11am in the Kerlin Gallery. Winning works are also published in the Writer’s Eye booklet, which will be available for purchase at the event.
