New York City Bus Trip

Join Creative York for our bus trip to New York City to visit the Whitney Museum of Art to see the Biennial exhibition and where our insider tour guide, Maggie Moran, former Gallery Director of YorkArts (Creative York), will lead us through several galleries located in the Chelsea art district.

Discover the art of our times in Whitney Biennial 2024: Even Better Than the Real Thing. The seventy-one artists and collectives in the latest chapter of the exhibition follow in the footsteps of hundreds of Biennial artists before them to interpret our current landscape and tell stories, spark discussion, and comment on issues across a variety of media and disciplines.

The Whitney is in the Meatpacking District, a twenty-square-block neighborhood with a bustling community of artists, galleries, educators, entrepreneurs, and residents. The museum is steps from the High Line and a short walk from Greenwich Village, where the Museum was founded by Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney in 1930.

Lunch and shopping on your own in the Chelsea market or other locations as you see fit. Reservations are encouraged if you are looking to eat at a specific place. A list of local restaurants and lunch options will be provided.
