Renowned local artist, Carol Oldenburg will bring With Much Love to Creative York this spring. With Much Love represents communication in the form of letters going back-and-forth as email does today. Reading the words on paper are the result of a sender preparing materials, putting down thoughts, addressing, stamping and sending forth into the Postal Service concrete proof that says, “I’m thinking of you.” A letter goes from hand to hand, a physical manifestation of thought. It can be treasured, saved, and discovered later as were the timeline of letters between myself and my brother.
