Take a Seat! Chair Painting Class
(3 weeks) Tuesdays, 10/10, 10/17 and 10/24 from 6-8pm
Need a new seat? Have an old dining chair lying around that you want to give a fresh coat of paint? Study famous artists and paint a chair using their style, or create a composition of your own to give a chair a new life! Bring your own chair the first day and we will provide the rest of the materials you would need and the instruction.
Jane Wolfgang considers herself to be a life-long creative, and has always had an
interest in art. Born and raised in York, she received her BS in Arts Education from Kutztown
University and her Masters in Education from Wilkes University. She has taught public school art for over 25 years in various states and has just recently
moved back to York, where she has continued her artistic passions of mixed media and
painting. Jane has exhibited her work in both solo and group shows in North Carolina
and locally. In addition, Jane has written and illustrated two children’s art books and has also
illustrated another six children’s books. Jane loves to teach and nothing fulfills her more than motivating children and adults by
sharing her love of art with them.
