Handbuilding Ceramics: Mugs and Bowls
(6 weeks) Wednesdays 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21 from 6-8pm
Make a series of unique mugs and bowls in this 6 week course! Students will learn a variety of handbuilding techniques to shape, attach, blend and glaze their mugs and bowls. After the class, they will be perfect for eating and drinking out of! No prior ceramics experience required.
Laura has loved clay for as long as she can remember. Some of her earliest memories are of playing with clay she found outside at the dining room table. She’s been teaching art for two decades, and moved from her home state of Michigan to York PA 10 years ago with her husband Tad and two children. Laura is wildly passionate about sharing creative experiences with underserved communities and building lifelong connections through art.
