Community Supported Art (CSA)
Over the last 20 years, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) has become a popular way for consumers to buy seasonal food directly from local farms. With the same buy-local spirit in mind, we are pleased to bring Community Supported ART (CSA) to our community! Community Supported Art supports artists in the creation of new work and establishes relationships between artists and patrons.
For the inaugural program, nine selected artists have been commissioned to create 20 “shares” of art. Interested individuals will purchase a share from Creative York and, in return, will receive a box containing nine unique, locally created art pieces, one from each of our participating artists:
